Wow, what a year 2011 has been for us. Because of our loyal customers, our business has been wonderful and this past year was amazing. We have met so many great people and we are happy to have made so many special desserts for each and everyone of you. We celebrated our one year of being in business and look forward to this fabulous year.

Paint the Town Pink!

The Dessert Diva will be participating in the upcoming Paint the Town Pink fundraiser benefitting The Miles Perret Center. The event will be held the entire month of October, in lieu of breast cancer awareness. My mother, A SURVIVOR, came up with the concept for Acadiana to help out a local organization, which was helpful to her (and our family) during her battle of breast cancer. Last year's event raised lots of money and she knew this year could bring in even more! Lots of businesses will and can participate, as well as schools, families, pokeno groups and more! Be creative and find a creative way to raise money!

We entered this Bon Bon cake in the first annual Cake decorating contest held at City Club. A fundraiser, benefitting The Family Tree. It was fun and we were honored to participate! The theme was "Sweet Home Acadiana"....we decided to create a Cajun version of Wizard of Oz! There's no place like "Sweet Home Acadiana"
