Sweet Matilda Jane bon bons...

A very good customer special ordered bon bons to bring along on a retreat for the clothing line she sales. She wanted them to resemble the spring line of clothes coming soon (fun, frilly and bright) I came up with this fun assortment of printed bon bons.

If any of you have not heard of it before, you are missing out! It has to be the most Divalicious, Addorable line of clothing I have ever seen. Matilda Jane Clothing line! Caitlin is a trunk holder in this area and I think she will be having a trunk show soon. I am sure the new Spring collection will be indeed fabulous. Hip Baby Shower...

The decor for this baby shower was not the traditional light baby hues...instead poka dots and stripes paired with funky vibrant colors were chosen. Great choice! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

What a great year 2010 has been for me! My business has flourished and has brought me to expand to a larger space and new location. I appreciate all my loyal customers! I plan to open in Scott on Tuesday if everything goes as planned. Keep checking in for updates and be sure to be the first to come visit the Dessert Diva's new home! It's quite funky, yet cozy! My lil' future Dessert Diva!!!

My husband works up North around Natchitoches and a few weeks ago we went visit to do a little shopping and to let Audrey see all the pretty lights. It truly is beautiful and we love going. My husband had told me he saw a cupcake place down town, so you know of course we indeed had to scope it out. So we got all bundled up to go buy a few cupcakes. The place was a quaint corner shop on the main strip that offered sweets, coffee and sandwiches. They are indeed very proud of their products. I picked out a red velvet and Audrey chose a plain one with choc icing and sprinkles. The grand total was $7.13!!!! For 2 reg size cupcakes. WOW! I promise mine won't cost that much. We decided to save them for Mimi and the girls to sample back in Rayne. The verdict was indeed they were not as good as the Dessert Diva's. They were very cute and came square shaped, which made them unique. Here is a picture of Audrey smiling at cupcakes! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Enjoy!
