Sweet Red White & Blue...

I started making a few festive 4th of July bon bons. I will have a few flavors made...They are perfect for BBQs, pool parties and easy to take along traveling! Orders yours today before it's too late. We may be heading out of town, so all orders may need to be picked up by Friday. These are red velvet ones.

Cupcakes galore!!

This weekend I had an order for Birthday cupcakes. Lil' Miss Natalie wanted cupcakes at her party. Hot pink and green were her colors of choice. The crowd was going to be fairly large, so mom wanted to make sure to have enough for everyone. There were LOTS of cupcakes and even some bon bons for the guest to choose from. Hope the party was fun and the sweets were delish! I am very thankful for people who choose to serve my treats! Thank you....The Dessert Diva

A friend of mine has come to love anything made by The Dessert Diva. So she finds any excuse to order bon bons and cupcakes. She ordered treats for her daughter's end of school swimming party. She got bon bons for the moms and told me to make something fun for the kids, with maybe a cherry on top and straws. Of course I couldn't top them off with plain cherries...dipped and sprinkled are much more FUN!!!!

Jumbo Cupcakes

It's not often people order the jumbo cupcakes, so when they do, I always enjoy making them. They are so filling and big, 2 people can eat on one of them. These are wedding cake and carrot cake. There's something about the wedding cake cupcakes that I can never get enough of! They are my favorite flavor. I love the fluffy almond frosting!!! mmmm I can smell it now! They were very pleased with the giant cupcakes and thought they were beautiful.

LSU Bon Bons

These are the LSU bon bons I made for my sister's wedding. The groom's table and cake was LSU decor. He requested red velvet bon bons (with no sprinkles) They came out well and vanished not long after they were put out! Hope to have better pictures from the wedding photography...

Happy Father's Day!

The Dessert Diva wishes all the DADS a very special Father's Day! Hope everyone's day was wonderful. I was in charge of, what else, bringing dessert today. My Mom made home-made vanilla icecream, so I whipped up some yummy cupcakes to pair with it. What dad doesn't love peanut butter??? I created these yummy chocolate cupcakes, stuffed with fluffy peanut butter cream and topped high with choc icing and Reeses. They were a sure hit. Out of the 3 giant and 16 reg cupcakes, only 3 were left over. Attached are pictures of them, along with a picture of my Dad, my daughter and I. She calls him "Happy" the name suits him perfect. He is the best ever! Love you Dad ;)

What's better than a White Russian???

White Russian cupcakes!!!!!!!!!!! For occasions where just adults are around, you have to try these. The rich and spongy vanilla cupcakes are stuffed with a special whipped cream concoction, that's spiked with Kahlua, then piled high with fluffy Vanilla Kahlua frosting & chocolate drizzled on top. Need I say more? The perfect end to any fabulous meal...who needs a night cap when these babies are around???
