Paint the Town Pink!

The Dessert Diva will be participating in the upcoming Paint the Town Pink fundraiser benefitting The Miles Perret Center. The event will be held the entire month of October, in lieu of breast cancer awareness. My mother, A SURVIVOR, came up with the concept for Acadiana to help out a local organization, which was helpful to her (and our family) during her battle of breast cancer. Last year's event raised lots of money and she knew this year could bring in even more! Lots of businesses will and can participate, as well as schools, families, pokeno groups and more! Be creative and find a creative way to raise money!

The theme was "Sweet Home Acadiana"....we decided to create a Cajun version of Wizard of Oz! There's no place like "Sweet Home Acadiana"

The Dessert Diva crew took a few days to enjoy a much needed family vacation. Our weeks and weekends have been crazy with orders! Thanks to all of you, our great customers! Busy week!

Hello everyone! Last week was very busy. The weekend included a baby shower, a Birthday party, a Bon Bon cake, and a very large order of Crown shaped sugar cookies and crown cupakes for a special event. Sweet Matilda Jane bon bons...

A very good customer special ordered bon bons to bring along on a retreat for the clothing line she sales. She wanted them to resemble the spring line of clothes coming soon (fun, frilly and bright) I came up with this fun assortment of printed bon bons.

What a great year 2010 has been for me! My business has flourished and has brought me to expand to a larger space and new location. I appreciate all my loyal customers!
