NEW Flavors

The Dessert Diva has been busy mixing up a few new flavors!!! The new additions are perfect for everything this Mardi Gras season. Try the KING CAKE bon bon...all the traditional flavors of a king cake rolled into a bite size treat. White cake and cinnamon sugar cake combined with bavarian cream, dipped in white vanilla bark and topped with mardi gras sugar sprinkles. Need I say more! And then there's the ZULU ones! Just like the parade...they are all about the coconut. Similar to a Zulu cake, these vanilla cake balls have lots of coconut & chocolate chips combined together with cream cheese icing!!!! I had a request to do Choc covered strawberries, and I guess they are a hit too, she said they were "the best she ever had". I may continue to make them for special orders. They are called Fancy Strawberries. I also want to wish Happy Birthday to lil' Evelyn Andrus! Who is a also a fan of cake balls! She requested the green ones with the chocolate sprinkles! What a sweet treat...hope the rest of the kids at school love them too! Thank you to everyone for helping spread the word about my sweets, I appreciate it and have been busy because of awsome people like you guys! Have a Super SWEET Weekend!

Today I had a few orders of cupcakes to make. Some are for a baby shower and the others are for a sweet Mom who wanted some "just because" for the family. How awesome to get home from school and pig out on Birthday Cake, Butterfinger & Heath stuffed cupcakes. A special treat for any kid (or grown up!) Hope everyone has great weekend. Peanut Butter Cup or Carrot Cake anyone???

Today's agenda included making Carrot cake bon bons for an upcoming order. They are a favorite for anyone who loves carrot cake! Also I finished up some Peanut Butter Cup bon bons, the newest flavor recently added to my assortment of bon bons. People have asked a few times if I had a peanut butter one, and until now, I didn't. But look out...because oh my!!! They are good! My new favorite. Seems like each time we come up with a new one, it becomes my favorite. If you are a fan of Reeces peanut butter cups or girl scout Tagalongs....these will make you smile. They're the perfect combination of both! Once you try one...you'll be addicted.

A special Thank You to anyone and everyone who ordered goodies from the Dessert Diva for the holidays! I was very excited to help you spread holiday cheer with my cupcakes and bon bons. I've never rolled so many bon bons in my life. I had a few large corporate orders, and hope all were delighted when they recieved their "little pink box" of treats. I am working on a few new special Bon Bon flavors for Mardi Gras! Will post them soon! I am getting ready for Valentine's Day...stocking up on lots of pink and red sprinkles.
