Busy Weekend

Be on the Lookout for free Bon Bons this weekend! The Dessert Diva is showing up in a few places. Participants who are going to be at the Casa Ole Caliente 5K on Saturday will be treated to Bon Bons! Because of other prior plans, The Dessert Diva will not be able to attend, but is sending goodies for those who participate. It is for a great cause...glad to be a part of helping out! Thank you Susanna! For more info, here is the link--->

If you can't make it there...Attend the Open House Bridal Show at The Warehouse in Rayne! Sunday 11am-2pm The event is free of charge. There will be local vendors in the Wedding industry. Come stop by to tour the historical landmark, or at least stop in for a quick Bon Bon!!! Look for The Dessert Diva's table. I'm sure it will be the one with lots of pink!

Thank You!

Special thanks to all of you who ordered bon bons for Easter! Your business is greatly appreciated!!! Hope all enjoyed the special goodies I made for Easter. I have a few events I will be doing in the next few weeks. Check in for updates and info! What would Easter at the Boudreaux house be without sweets from the Dessert Diva! I made bon bons and my special "Holiday " Sugar cookies. When we all gather for special times and holidays I always make sugar cookies, and over the years my family has developed a love for them. I have a drawer full of cookie cutters, one (or 5) or every occasion!! This Sunday there were pink bunnies, green frogs, colorful Easter eggs, colored chicks and pretty crosses. I have perfected the icing and can decorate quite well. I prob have been making them for about 8 years now. They some how start vanishing before we eat our meal. (Hey, like I say"Life is too short, eat dessert first")....and if you don't grab the one you wish for...it may not be there long. It's not just the kids grabbing for them, the grown ups like them just as much, maybe even more! Seems that my sugar cookies never make it to the left over containers :) My nanny called these "edible art". Wish I had one right now.
